The week began with Media Room’s regular Tuesday post, an interview with ambient composer Rindert Lammers. His April 18 debut album “Thank You Kirin Kiki” was born out of the grief of losing three friends in a tragic accident and inspired by the 2018 Japanese movie, “Shoplifters.”

Adam Fuss (British, born 1961). Untitled from the series "In Between," 1994. Cibachrome photogram. 14 x 10 7/8 inches (35.6 x 27.6 cm). Collection Buffalo AKG Art Museum. Gift of Deborah Ronnen, 2023.

On Thursday, paid subscribers received my review of the recently opened Buffalo AKG Art Museum exhibit “Adam Fuss: Visual Resonance” (above).

Free subscribers can read it Friday, May 23.
