The week began with Tuesday’s post, an interview with Grant O’Brien. O’Brien has been appointed to the JoAnn Falletta Conducting Fellowship for the next two years.

Grant is an Eastman graduate with strong roots to western New York.

On Thursday, Media Room posted my review of Taj Mahal and Keb’ ‘Mo’s second collaboration, “Room On The Porch.” I have been listening to Taj’s music my whole life; I wrote about that here.

In my review, I said “[i]ts ten tracks feel like a cool dive into a swimming hole, long forgotten by the crowds posing by the hotel pool.”
