I relaunch with a new title and logo.

“Media Room” now contains over 200 posts, essays, reviews, interviews, TV appearances, and podcasts, not to mention various and sundry miscellany. This is the best job I ever had, and I used to work at Baskin-Robbins.

I humbly and profusely thank graphic artist, musician, and thoroughly decent human being Tim Huggins for my new logo. To those whose have expressed breathless praise at its complex beauty: thanks, but I had nothing to do with it. My graphic design skills are, for all intents and purposes, nonexistent. Tim is just a goddamn genius.

In March 2024, I will be interviewing Buffalo-born guitarist Jason Vieux prior to Saturday’s appearance at the 2024 International Guitar Festival and reviewing UB Composition Professor Tiffany Skidmore’s One Act Opera “The Golden Ass.” The Buffalo Philharmonic, chamber music, and film reviews are on the calendar as well.
